We welcome all visitors and newcomers to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). First Presbyterian Church of Logan is continually renewed by the gifts and strengths of new people who are seeking a strong spiritual foundation in their lives and a vitality that comes from faith in Jesus Christ. We are a family of Christ’s disciples striving to grow daily in our faith, seeking to do God’s will, and who want to make a difference in the world. We come in all sizes and shapes, ages, situations, and circumstances, and whatever those life circumstances may be, we are all one in Christ. You are sincerely welcome here.
So that you can get to know us better we have prepared this web site. We encourage you to stop in and find out about us in person by attending worship or any other activities of the church.

At the heart of the Reformed tradition is a commitment to the Word, the sacraments, and discipline. At the heart of the Reformed tradition is an essential commitment to God's grace witnessed in Scripture, encountered in Christ, and experienced in daily life.  You will find here a brief introduction into the Reformed Tradition in which Presbyterians follow.

For hundreds of years Christians have used a variety of disciplines and practices in order to deepen and strengthen their relationship with God.  Among Christians different forms of prayer developed, methods to study scripture, understand our faith better, etc.  These practices are many and varied and we have included some brief descriptions of some of these practices on this web site.

Have a question about the church, your faith, worship, God, the Bible, reformed theology, etc.  Go to the above link, fill out the form and you will receive a response in about three to seven days, probably sooner.

Reformed worship--it's all about God.  When we come to worship we enter into the presence of the Creator, offering a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving. You will find in this page information about the nature of reformed worship and some brief explanations of why we do what we do.
