| Fun,
fellowship, Bible study, mission, and service! This is what the Presbyterian Women are all
about. We are a diverse group who enjoy serving God with our talents.
Anyone who participates or supports the Presbyterian Women (PW) in any
way is considered a "Presbyterian Woman."
We invite you to join us.
Every month four small groups meet for Bible study and
fellowship. You are welcome to come to any meeting, any time you can.
These small groups are called "Circles" and meet in the church
parlor. |

Women's Goals:
Presbyterian Women (PW)
has as its first goal the enlistment of all women of the congregation
into full participation in the worship and work of the church. We are
women of the church with a Christian obligation to facilitate service,
missions, and fellowship within our church and the community.
At the First
Presbyterian Church of Logan, PW is made up of four Circles that meet
once a month. Circles are designed to provide for the individual women
of the church personal fellowships that cause her to feel she has the
support of friends who have an interest in and concern for her. The
Circle’s highest service is to help persons inside the membership of
the church become aware of the power of Christ. This creates a redeeming
fellowship that gives support in all of life’s experiences, and to
help persons outside the membership of the church come to know and
accept Christ and desire the fellowship of His Church. In Circles, women
study the Bible together and discuss its meanings in today’s world;
learn how the church carries out its missions; plan creatively for the
work of the church; serve with others to meet some of the needs of
people at home and overseas; and, pray together for the work of Christ
throughout the world.
Being involved in PW
is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, help others, and to
serve our Lord. For more information, please call the church office at
752-6232 and they will put you in contact with the PW Moderator.
