voice in the media as a ministry of mission to Appalachia and the world.

Presbytery
of West Virginia
Our church is a member congregation of the Presbytery
of West Virginia. The Presbytery is located
completely within the boundary of Appalachia. There are 150 congregations tucked among the forested mountains, nestled in the river valleys, found
in coal mining camps and villages, located near the growing
recreation centers and established within the towns and cities in
forty-one counties of the state. This web site lists the other
churches within the presbytery and the other activities and programs of
the presbytery.

Synod
of the Trinity
The Synod of the Trinity is a middle governing board in the
Presbyterian Church (USA) and serves 16 presbyteries, 1,300 churches and
nearly 300,000 members in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the Upper Ohio
Valley with a variety of services and programs. The general areas in which
they work include:

Conference Center
Montreat® Conference
Center is one of three national conference centers affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) The conference center offers a year-round schedule with
over 35 conferences and retreats for all ages and interests, and attracts
over 30,000 participants annually.

Bluestone Conference Center
Bluestone Conference Center is owned by the Presbytery
of West Virginia and governed by the Bluestone Conference Center Board of
Directors. Bluestone Conference Center is located 10 miles from Hinton,
WV.

Wilmington Missionary Conference
People of all ages gather for a week on
the campus of Westminster
College. Their aim is to
cultivate a life of fellowship with God by promoting service and witness
for Jesus Christ.

Presbyterian
Coffee Project
The Presbyterian Coffee Project is a new way to help people in need while
enjoying fellowship and an excellent cup of coffee. Presbyterian
congregations that participate are supporting fair trade--practices which
complement our mission with farmers in Latin America, Africa and Asia, as
well as our commitment to stewardship of the natural environment. |
