We are planning our next set of classes, if you are interested please call
or e-mail the office and tell us the times best for you to take a class.
We will be offering two Basic Computer
Classes for anyone wanting to learn more about their computers.
Classes are normally offered Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and
Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. (those these times may change)
and the classes are free to
anyone wanting to learn more and will run four weeks. Maybe you got a
computer for Christmas and now you want to know how to send e-mail, use
Windows, browse the internet, search for information or how to write a
letter, this class is for you. Advanced registration is needed to take the
classes on either Monday or Wednesday since space is limited. To register
call the church at 752-6232.

Forty five years ago a woman from
New York named Jean Nidetch invited her friends to gather once a week,
to share ideas and offer support in a collective effort to lose weight.
Her call to action was the start of Weight Watchers, and today that
group of friends has grown to number millions of weight-loss success
stories.
It wasn’t Jean’s food plan that was unique. It
was the idea of sharing weight loss with people who could understand
what she was going through. Today, both food plans that form the
basis of the Weight Watchers program are unique. And over the
years our Program has expanded to include exercise and behavior change.
But it’s the sharing and caring, the learning and self-discovery that
happens during the meetings, that’s at the heart of our success
stories.
Because of this legacy, the Group Leader running the Weight Watchers
meeting has lost weight with Weight Watchers. So did the Service
Provider at the desk. Because of this legacy, you can be
successful, too.
